We've been coming here for every Birthday and Anniversary for 10 years even though we dont live in Stillwater anymore its worth the drive. The food never dissapoints, the staff is friendly, and its our favorite place in town.

We had so much fun here! Sake bomb was great! Loved the experience and atmosphere. Food was very good and cooking it ourselves was entertaining! Very quick & friendly service. We will definitely do this again!

Tokyo Pot delivers an engaging dining adventure by allowing diners to personally cook their meats at the table. The concept offers a blend of entertainment and gastronomy, making it an exciting choice for those seeking an interactive culinary experience. The menu features a diverse array of premium meats, ensuring a delightful journey for carnivores. From thinly sliced beef to succulent pork, each cut is fresh and high-quality. The do-it-yourself grilling concept encourages camaraderie among diners, making Tokyo Pot an excellent choice for social gatherings. The staff is knowledgeable and provides guidance, ensuring even novice cooks can enjoy the experience. The restaurant's ambiance is both modern and inviting, complementing the overall dining atmosphere. While the novelty of cooking your own meal may not be for everyone, Tokyo Pot successfully turns it into a positive aspect of the dining experience. The prices align with the quality and uniqueness of the concept, making it a worthwhile venture for those looking to spice up their traditional dining outings. Tokyo Pot stands out as a destination that offers not just a meal but a memorable and hands-on culinary journey.

Tokyo Pot is the best food in tow. While it’s a hole in the wall, you will not be disappointed by the experience. The prime rib is mouthwatering. The service is exceptional. And the unique dining experience is fun!!

A little run down, but very true to the traditional Tokyo Hotpot Restaurant. I was seated promptly after I walked in ( even though it was the dinner rush). The tables were a bit beat up and needed a new coat of paint, but everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. I ordered the small prime rib plate and got quite a fill of food for under $25, including tip. It included all the soup you can eat, a vegetable plate ( cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, noodles, and tofu), plus a decently sized plate of thin cut prime rib. It also included unlimited condiments at no extra cost. I was ignored by the waitress once after calling her several times, but I'll just attribute that to it being a busy restaurant during the dinner rush. The only comment I have is they don't give you a takeout container to bring home your soup broth when you're done. I paid for it, and they can't reuse it. They may as well let me take it home instead of pooring it out. But they just give you a little Styrofoam clam shell container to bring home your leftover meat and veggies in. In short: good experience, great tasting food, but just ok service and atmosphere.

GenX here. If you’re in Stilly and hungry enough to scare your cardiologist, Tokyo Pot is the HOT spot. Look, I’ve eaten a lot of meals in my life.... some good, some questionable, some that tasted like the 90s looked but the prime rib setup at Tokyo Pot? That thing hit like a surprise Pearl Jam reunion tour. The whole experience felt like the universe saying, “Hey champ, you’ve survived dial‑up internet, Blockbuster late fees, and you deserve this.”

Our favorite spot for dinner in Stillwater and has been for many years. Grateful it has been cared for and now they are offering new and delicious options. The after work special broth is incredible and the classics are still in place and still as incredible. Live long and prosper Tokyo Pot, we love you!

A calm, zenlike dining experience. Everything is familiar yet set among a different number of facets. Service explained the process nicely but it was still out of this world for my friend who had never been to Tokyo Pot. The food portions were plentiful (but note if you go vegetarian you need to ask for extra tofu). The stews and sauces were yummy. The only thing I miss from the old TP was the mismatched assortment of wooden bowls, wooden spoons, big tin ladles. Using new melamine or plastic was cute but not charming the way the old table service was. Of course, this is a picky thing. The seats were extremely comfortable and it was cool and cozy. The new heating elements were superb, and prevented excessive heat. Hope they open for lunch with a smaller, cheaper version so it isn't prohibitive to many people. Given the cost, I will only go once or twice a year.
